Throughout 2002-03, Jayl - our Chairman and Niki - our Treasurer studied and completed the 'Sport for Life' (Foundation Studies in Exercise) course through Arsenal FC in conjunction with the Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College. The course concentrated on many aspects of fitness, health and exercise, including diet & nutrition, injury prevention, stretching and designing work-out programmes. Essentially 'Fitness - the Arsene Wenger way!'

They were then very honoured to be presented with their certificates at Highbury by Charlie George. After this, they were photographed with the FA Cup and then watched Arsenal beat Liverpool at Anfield on the Highbury screens with a fantastic goal from Robert Pires ... October 4th 2003 - what a day!
